The ahi Asian tuna salad is Bomb!!! That's all I love from here. Service is good, it can get busy at times . Ambiance is ok I guess.

This place has been on my list. I'm so glad I finally made it. I was seated promptly with my choice of indoor or out. I chose to sit out side since the weather was beautiful. My old fashion was on point. Price wise very typical but worth every penny. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of pasta salad. It had the perfect amount of heat and the pasta salad was a great side to balance out the heat. Staff was friendly attentive. My food was out promptly. I liked that this place was off the beaten path. I will definitely wonder this way again.

Spent the day at Dell'osso Pumpkin Patch and during the planning stages zoomed in to see the layout of the farm when I saw a tag by google letting us know of this restaurant close by. Because we live out of town I decided to click on the name and after reviewing their online menu I decided that we would end the day here. The sunset was gorgeous and the evening was cool with a gentle breeze. Family friendly with outdoor activities. There were kids at the manmade lake fishing and a small group playing volleyball nearby (not sure if they provide ball or if you bring your own). They have a Corn Hole area as well near the pizza oven on the outside dining deck. Staff were attentive and friendly despite arriving an hour before close. The food was fresh and delicious. Prices were average. There is a walking bridge behind the restaurant that you can enjoy as well. We plan to make this a regular outing. Highly recommend this hidden gem! Con- Parking is extremely limited and spaces sized mostly for compact cars so keep in mind that during busier times or on holidays you might need to park in the neighborhood and walk a fair distance into the area. We went near closing so we didn't encounter issues with parking though a tight squeeze in & out for our suburban. If you drive a larger vehicle expect parking to be a bit of a challenge. We also didn't see anywhere to turn around in the parking lot either so backing up appears to be the only option out if you can't find a spot.

The staff here are super friendly. We came for the pizza. They only have pizza on certain nights. It was super good. We got the uncle Vinny, pepperoni, margarita and short rib. All of them were super delicious. Their ranch was the star of the show!!! Superb. We also got the nachos as an appetizer. These were delicious. They separate the chips from the toppings which was so nice. Definitely a vibe here. The only issue is the flies when sitting outside. If you bring your own peppermint oil and citronella oil you should be good.

This was a great find, only issue is parking. The Boathouse is located in the River Islands Community of Lathrop. The parking lost is very small and the restaurant gets busy. We were followed to our car when leaving as there were about 4 cars trying to park and our space was immediately taken. You can sit inside or outside, we chose to sit outside. It was a warm Friday night, BUT we came early, around 5 pm so we got parking and got a table right away. There is a large pizza outside outside on the deck and we did order one! There are people fishing, a volleyball court and you can walk around the small water inlet. No boats as the water does not connect to the river. There had some specialty drinks and a few beers. For appetizers we ordered the pot stickers and the wings (Wed to Sun only), both were delocious. HInt: The mango habanero sauce is more sweet than spciy and when mixed with the buffalo sauce it was great! For dinner I ordered a patty melt with a turkey burger. You can choose your sides, I picked mac & cheese. The burger was pretty good although I wish it was toasted just a little more. The mac & cheese was really good. We also ordered the sweet peppers pizza. It is a white sauce with peppers, but the crust is very thin so it gets crunchy almost burnt.

We were visiting our friends and they took us here to eat lunch. The ambiance and views from here are nice! It's on a man made lake in a housing community. I would have never known this place was here! The servers were really nice and our food came out really quick! I ordered the ceaser salad wrap with the pasta salad as my side. It was ok. Nothing special. But my partner got the Thai chicken lettuce wraps, and those were good!! Not authentic lettuce wraps that you'd think of, but still super yummy! It was more of a Thai chicken salad with lettuce cups. I would definitely recommend that! Everyone else's food looked really yummy. I'm excited to go back and try something new! Just be prepared to be attacked by flies if you eat here

I was in town visiting my cousin she lives in River Islands this location was so convenient since it's in River Islands neighborhood. Inside there is a bar area seating tables and some TVs . We decided to seat outside which is a big patio area over looking the river it was really relaxing . Our waiter was super nice and attentive . She was always checking out us and made sure we had everything we needed . I ordered the Wagyu Jack Daniels burger with their loaded Mashed Potatoes. They were both delicious the mashed potato for the side is the way to go ! My cousin got the Cobb salad that thing was huge and it looked really good . I wanted a wood fire pizza but it was to early the oven was not ready yet . I will have to come back to try the pizza . Inside it looked clean and organized. For the parents with small kiddos they have a changing table in restroom. Overall my cousin and I had a great lunch date. We ate great food and got to catch up and spend some time relaxing watching the water . The service was excellent . I would definitely be coming back and trying the pizza. I love that this place is so close to my cousins house so we can stop by when we visit her.
